Service Provider Terms
and Conditions
A Service Provider who has submitted company
information to Findacontractor.com with the
intent of being listed acknowledges, accepts,
and agrees to be bound by the following Terms
and Conditions:
Liability Insurance
The Service Provider will carry comprehensive
general liability insurance with the required
amount for the particular trade, as set by
state law. Service Provider will provide Findacontractor.com
a certificate of insurance with policy number
and insurance carrier.
Workers' Compensation Insurance
Service Providers must provide Workers' Compensation
Insurance where required by law.
Licenses
Service Providers must provide proof of current
licenses for all jurisdictions and trades,
where required, for services it intends to
perform.
Subcontractors
Subcontractors used to perform work as agents
for the Service Provider must meet insurance
requirements as if they are a service provider
or the service provider must provide coverage
under their policies.
Standards
Service Providers must maintain a high standard
of honesty, integrity, and responsibility in
their dealings with customers. Upon executing
an agreement with a customer, Service Provider
is responsible for all terms and conditions
outlined in the terms of the contract based
on State requirements for content.
Independent Contractor
Service Providers shall perform all jobs as
an independent contractor and not as an agent,
employee, or representative of Findacontractor.com.
Termination
Either Findacontractor.com or the Service
Provider may terminate this agreement for any
reason with notice. Notice of termination must
be issued in written form.
Indemnity
Service Providers shall take all necessary
precautions to prevent injury or property damage
to any customer or other person while performing
its obligations as a service provider. Service
Providers shall indemnify and hold harmless
Findacontractor.com and its officers, agents
directors, and employees against any claim,
loss, judgment, expense and injury to person
or property resulting directly or indirectly,
in whole or part, for any act, omission, or
negligence on the part of the Service Provider
or any subcontractors employed by Service Provider,
in the performance or failure to perform the
scope of work covered by these Terms and Conditions.
Modifications to Terms and Conditions
These terms and conditions constitute the
entire agreement between Findacontractor.com
and Service Providers. Findacontractor.com
reserves the right to change these Terms and
Conditions at their sole discretion and authority.
Applicable Law
The laws of the State of New Jersey shall
govern these Terms and Conditions.
