Findacontractor.com, Inc. was conceived in the summer of 2002 as a response to the many articles and news stories about consumers being ripped off by disreputable contractors. We developed Findacontractor.com so that consumers could research available contractors from the privacy of their computers.

Our mission is to empower consumers by offering a database of contractors and home improvement professionals, free of charge. Through this database, consumers can request information and estimates from multiple contractors, view samples of their work, print out offers and coupons, and read reviews and testimonials from other consumers.

Our goal is to utilize web technologies to better connect consumers to contractors and home improvement professionals, and to simplify and improve the home contracting experience.
